On the 15th October 2009, we held the AGM. After sterling work for the club Stephen and Catherine decided to stand down as Chairman and Secretary. The following new members of the committee are as follows:

Chairman: Dave Waters

Secretary: Gill Waters

Treasurer: Dennis Parsons

Other members of the Committee are: Malcolm de la Haye, Susie and Julian Marshall, Ash Holmes.

Raffle co-ordinator: Linda Sharp

Thanks to Stephen and Catherine for all their hard work of the past year, it has been really appreciated. Taking over as Chairman and Secretary is very difficult when you have never done it before and it is a very steep learning curve, but despite that Steve and Catherine have done a wonderful job. We hope that they will still be able to join us even though they will soon be living in Devizes.

Dennis told us that the club funds stand at £676.

Julian and Susie have volunteered to attend the National AGM and Dave and Gill are going to the regional liaison meeting on Sunday 18th October.

Gill and Dave and Steve Hardy to investigate the RAFA club in Belle View Road, Swindon, as a possible venue for our club meetings.

The Committee to contact the Castle Combe Circuit to inquire if we can hold our rally there in 2010 in conjunction with their Classic Car Weekend.

Birmingham Classic Car Show - Sunday 15th November - please contact Malcolm on 01793 702127 for more details if you are interested.

Friday 6th November. Highworth Firework Display the entrance fee is the same as last year. Then afterwards at the Cold Harbour for something to eat. We are not pre-booking this meal, you order when you arrive.

Thursday 10th December - Christmas meal at the Dockle Farmhouse in Swindon SN3 4DP. 7 for 7.30 start. This meal will have to be pre-booked, I am currently trying to get a menu so that you can make your choices. I will be in touch very soon to let you know what to do. The club will subsidise every paid up member of the club by paying the deposit of £3 per head.

NB We have been in touch with Castle Combe Circuit and they cannot confirm that we can go there as yet as they haven't completed their diary for 2010. This should be ready by the end of November, we will make contact again then.
